Anyone done this? I’ve been running some tests and have noticed that it seems to only capture the video range 64-960 instead of the full 0-1023 range (or 4-1023 as seen by other systems I’ve used).

I’m using a quad core G5 with a multibridge extreme and capturing of a SR that has footage dumped to it using the full range.

I also ran a test where I had a ramp that was composed of various shades of black ranging from 0-64 and 940-1023 and noticed that FCP reported them as pure white or pure black – the test involved capturing of the SR into FCP at 10bit 444 RGB and then taking that original file from the scratch into shake to analyse the colours – I Also tried exporting out of FCP to a uncompressed blackmagic 10 RGB 444 codec with no change…

anyone know if I am doing something wrong here?
