Dual monitor issues with PP
I recently purchased an LCD monitor to use in conjunction with my CRT for video editing/effects purposes. Basically, I want to use my LCD for my workspace and my CRT for my video preview. My LCD is connected with a DVI cable, my CRT with a VGA. I am using nVidia to manage my desktop. I have successfully set up the two monitors to share the desktop. In EVERY other program I have, all that is needed to maximize a program window’s screen to split between the monitors is to simply right click the window and choose the “maximize to desktop” option. With Premier Pro this option is not accessible. It seems that the project window, monitors, and workspace are confined within the main program window. The Tools pallete and History window seem to be the exception, as I can drag those to the other desktops freely.
This seems to be a simple feature that works for After Effects and Photoshop just fine. Can anyone offer me advise on how to fix this problem?
