  • Dual Adapter question

Posted by Luke Pearson on April 1, 2009 at 10:35 pm

I just purchased a dual adapter for dumping p2 footage but I can’t figure out how to get this thing to mount. Here are my specs:

    macbook pro
2.5 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
    mac OS X 10.5.6

I know I don’t need a driver for the dual adapter but they told me I still need to download one for my p2 cards. I have a 32 and 16 gb p2 cards. Where do I get these drivers? Thanks for any help.

    Thanks for the reply Jeremy.

These drivers are confusing. I went to the page where the drivers are and downloaded something I thought was a driver for mac. When I went to the upzip folder and double clicked on the file to go through the setup wizard it said “setup failed”.

    what is going on?

    From this Page:

    https://eww.pavc.panasonic.co.jp/pro-av/support/cs/csregistp2m/ep2main/mac_li_e.htm

    Download and install P2PCCard Install.pkg.

    It’s that easy.

Well thats what I’ve been trying to do. It keeps telling me “Install Failed”. I’m not sure why it would do that.

OK. That should be fine. Anything else connected to your machine? I just download and installed it, and it’s working fine here (just got an email that drivers had been updated anyway).

When you download and unzip the folder, you get a folder that’s marked mac_P2driver_v2?

I do not have anything plugged into my machine.

Yes, I get the folder called “mac_P2driver_v2”
