DSR-25 SONY DVCAM Inset Edit
I looked to see if there was an answer to this already but did not find one. So if want to layoff my video to DVCAM. I want the program to start at 01:00:00:00. My time line in FCP starts at 00:58:30:00 and after bars tone slate and countdown and 2 pop the program starts at hour one.
When I print to tape to the DSR25 it does not record the time-code from my FCP timeline.
Does anyone know how to have the deck do this?

Pre-stripe the first 20 seconds or so of your tape using the TC presets on the deck, just to get the right TC started.
Then, set the deck to “TC Regen(erate)” cue the deck to the right frame of TC and ASSEMBLE edit (Print to Tape) the rest of the Timeline from FCP.
