DSR-11 Deck not working in FCP 5.1
We just set up a new Dual Intel 2.75 Ghz with a Gig of RAM and FCP 5.1. When the DSR-11 is plugged in, the application will not launch and once the deck is turned off, the application will run. I know there was a QT receipts fix, but that’s not the issue. Does anyone have any insight?

If there is a FW External Hard Disk (or other FW device) connected, try unplugging that/those, and see what happens.

We’ll chalk this one up to a bad FW cable. I thought Monster Cable made pretty good product, but their cable didn’t work out of the box. All the pins were fine… go figure.
