Dsl footage in Final Cut Express hd 4?
I own a Canon 60D and with the EOS plugin i was able to convert the footage in ProRes and edit in FINAL CUT PRO just fine. However i don’t have FCP on my laptop so i am thinking of purchasing Final Cut Express HD 4 as it is more cheap. But the thing is will the same EOS plugin work in FCE 4 HD? And if not will i be able to edit the footage of Canon 60 D?

No ProRes in FCP Express. Perhaps you should wait a bit for the new FCP X as it’s only $299 and looks to be a lot more what you’re looking for:
