I’m torn on how to approach showing an anchor punching though drywall and showing the rips and tears: Clothilde or explosion, or…?

Cloth has been too fluid so far and I can’t seem to control explosion.

I just need the polygons to flare out a little and I’m good to go.

    Thanks!

Mmh, that may be difficult. Physically correct shattering is an art in itself. I’d go classical and use the Explosion FX object for the single reason that you can control the appearance of the fragments by modeling/ subdividing your geometry accordingly. You might also get some interesting results using Thinking Particles, but this could become potentially complex.

Thanks for your insight. I’ll give that a try!
