Dropped Frames???

Should it still be able to p lay through the orange bar without dropping frames? If not what is the point in the orange bar, why not just make it red? Thanks.

Not sure about the point of the orange bar…other than it will playback the footage somewhat so that you can get a general idea what it will look like.
Only the green render bar is realtime.

Hmm, still doesn’t seem like it should drop frames when it plays tries to play through an orange bar. No worries though, won’t make or break a project. Thanks for all your input. Take care.
