  Dropped Frames using LSI 9750 SA Raid Controller

  i have a quad zeon Mac Pro, Decklink Studio card and external 8T raid using LSI”s 9750 raid controller card. When I use Black Magics disc speed test I am getting read and write speeds of 310 and 228 MB/s and yet I am getting dropped frames with HDV footage on the time line and even dropped frames when loading in DV footage. Is there any one who has the experience to point me in the right troubleshooting direction?
