I am using an Svid cable to digitize into FCP/Igniter hardware. Going from my DVD deck into FCP it is digitizing fine. When I switch the Svid cable to my client’s SONY DV camcorder, I am getting dropped frames. FCP halts the capture immediately and tells me i have dropped frames. The SONY camcorder is running off a freshly charged battery. How can I solve this problem?

    thanks

    John

Connect the camera directly to your system via firewire…
