Having trouble with “I” drive. Here are the error messages-

    During AVID startup:

    Exception: ‘omfiHPDomain_ERROR_CLOSING_DOMAIN’
An error occurred validating the media directory: I:\OMFI MediaFiles

    During Project startup:

An error occurred creating the Database for the file directory ‘I:\OMFI Medis Files’. Exception: Failed Lock: the process cannot access the file because another process has locked a portion of the file. I:\OMFI Media Files\msmMMOB.mdb

    And then:

Media will be unavailable in the media directory: I:\OMFI MediaFiles

The only thing I know to do is to discard the msmMMOB.mdb file on the pesky I partition. And reboot. That didn’t help. It has been really busy so some of the drives are getting pretty full, including the “I” drive in question. I deleted a few old projects with media tool. This made the computer less sluggish, and I thought for a moment that all was well, but, alas, when I opened a project- same problems, same error messages. So it’s taking up to 20 minutes to open a project now. That can’t be right.

I bet these error messages mean something to someone in the know. Sure would like my I drive back. Thanks in advance for the help.
