    Hi there,

    Hoping someone can help.

I am relatively new to Dreamweaver and am in the process of designing my first website.

I designed the site in Photoshop and then split it into slices and saved for web.

All ok so far. Imported it into DW and have added rollover effects to the nav buttons. Things seem to be going smoothly…

    …until…

I added an iFrame to allow text conent to be placed in a panel in the centre of the page. The iFrame dimensions do not exceed the size of the space I left unsliced in PS but when I view the page in the browser, all the slices around the iFrame have been pushed out of position leaving white gaps everywhere.

I have tried reducing the size of the frame but it makes no difference.

Is there a way to lock all slices in place or am I missing somethig else quite simple here?

Alternatively, is there another way to achieve what I want (i.e. having the text content of the site appear in a panel in the centre of the site design without having to resort to additional coding. I understand a little about coding but work better visually.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Cheers

    hello…

you can use a div with a css attribute of overflow:auto – see this post:

    https://forums.creativecow.net/readpost/191/856065

for more info, just google the keywords div, overflow and auto and you should get all the info you need..

    hope that helps!
