This is probably quite a simple thing but I have read different ways of doing it but I want to find the easiest and simplest way to do exactly what I want.

All I need to draw are white lines on my 2D comp and circles. I was thinking of using Particular with a particle to give fluid motion – are there any tutorials for drawing using one particle. Basically the same as drawing with a pen – but I like the thought of the start line following a few seconds behind hence wondering if Particular will be good for this? How would I get the particle to follow a smooth circle motion?

    Thanks

I’m actually thinking I should be using 3D Stroke…I’ll give that a bash now.

3d stroke would be easier, however, Particular can do some interesting things – look for the iPod light streak tutorials.
