Dragging Video in Final Cut
I am trying to drag video OR audio only, out of my raw footage window onto my timeline, rather then always having to drag down both. Premier has a button where you can click, and the icon reads “video, audio or video/audio” Does Final Cut have an option like this?

This really a question for the Final Cut Basics Forum, but today is your lucky day…
Select the clip by clicking on it and then, open the Modify menu tab and uncheck Link. Command-L also does the same thing via the keyboard.
