I’m working in Invigorator 3.0.8 PRO for After Effects (thank you, budget…or lack thereof…:-) ) And I’m faced with the task of building the Edmund Fitzgerald in 3D. And I’m up to about 1500 objects in my Invig project.

Trouble is, I can’t drag-select objects. If I use the selection tool to drag a box around a couple of objects, every object in the scene (regardless of whether I hit it with the drag box or not) gets a blue wireframe box around it and the Objects drop-down menu shows “None selected”. Naturally, with this many objects in my scene, things have slowed down considerably; I’d love to turn off about 1,000 of the objects which I don’t need to see as I’m modeling, but without being able to drag-select them, I’m not much on the idea of clicking all 1,000 of them one at a time. 🙂

    Anyone have any ideas/tips/solutions/painkillers? TIA!
