Never needed to until now. Not sure where to start looking so I chose here. Does it cost very much? Avg. cost? Steps to take? Thanks.

You’ll have to be more specific.
Meaning you are being sent video over the internet? You have to source stock footage over the internet? You have to provide files over the internet? What do you need to do?

Just wanting to download (not infringing on copyright laws) various clips, either funny or serious to be used in videos for family and friends. I am not wanting to profit in any way. Example: My son produced several videos on youtube that I want to download and share.
