I’ve got just an in-house-only piece a client wants for a party using some footage off YouTube.

Is there a tried-&-true method for downloading YouTube videos? I watched the “Easy YouTube Downloader” tutorial, but of course it didn’t work as demonstrated.

I use the Mozilla Firefox browser and use Download Helper (which
is a free extension) to download anything i want from youtube
    in high quality most times.

Download helper is good but sometimes doesn’t work right or let me download in the format I want, so keepvid.com is a great site to use when that doesn’t work. It lets you pick a variety of resolutions and codecs to download the video.
