I’m posting this in a few forums to see if anyone can help me with this. We shot a project for Nat Geo that I want to feature in our upcoming newsletter. While I will eventually get a copy from the production company in London, it will be a while. We usually post our portion of a project on our website and link it from the newsletter. So I found the video posted on YouTube, which I will link below. Usually, I’m able to use one of the cheap software products like Xilisoft YouTube Converter to download the video and then convert from Flash to .mov. Then I can bring it into Final Cut and edit down to only the part of the show we worked on. BUT for some reason these products no longer are able to get the video off of YouTube. Has anyone run into this and does anyone have a workaround? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

Here’s the link. We did the wind tunnel part which is at exactly 07:14 into this 10 minute clip:
