  Downloading CD/Hard Copy of Creative Suites/Premier Pro 6.0 –

  Greetings to All – new member – new post – newbie at lots of this tech stuff.

  Question – I have obtained a hard copy/DVD – “supposedly” never registered – of Adobe Creative Suites/Premier Pro/Photoshop version 6.0. I already have CS 5.5 on the boot drive. Should I totally uninstall all previous CS/Adobe software before downloading the new stuff ?

  IMPORTANT INFO — When I have tried to download updates to 5.5 – Adobe “says” my Serial # – is not valid – EVEN when I paid like $ 1,150 to buy hard copy – and the serial number is listed on the main disc. My concern is if I uninstall older copy – and if I ever try to re-load from original DVD – and I am asked to “register again” — I will be screwed because of the “not a valid serial number” reply.

  Suggestions – or help ! Thanks !
