downloaded the SXS drivers not seeing card on mac desktop
I am in a situation where I am working off the new MacBook Pro, I downloaded the XDCAM browser software and the SXS media drivers but I am not seeing the card as a device when I put the SXS card in the Express Card slot on the Mac. I have used this work flow for my dual 2.7 older Macbook pro but this is not working on a new Macbook Pro.

If your new computer is running Snow Leopard then make sure you have the very latest SxS driver from Sony:
https://www.sony.ca/promedia/drivers.htm
If you don’t then this is probably the reason why your SxS card is not showing up on the desktop. Note the version number of the SxS driver currently installed on your machine and compare it to the version at the provided link above.
I think you also need the latest XDCAM transfer Tool in order for that to work with Snow Leopard. I’m just going by what others have said as I’m still running Mac OS 10.4.11

I have the same problem except I have just Leopard and I downloaded xdcam clip browser and xd cam transfer. And I cannot find the card anywhere. what can I do to see or find the card and/or footage?
