One possibility to get at least close to some film-stocks, is to use picture-styles. I sometimes (when not using the technicolor cinestyle for grading in post) use the Kodachrome 25 style…
On the Canon picture style site you’ll find the following quote:
“Selecting a Picture Style just as you would choose a film type.
Six preset Picture Styles are available with EOS DIGITAL.
Create the image you desire from the scenes you see.
Picture Style allows you to create exactly the image you want.”
