  • Downgrading to older version of Xpress pro with mojo

I am having major problems with service pack 2 crashing my computer. I have decided that I want to uninstall service pack 2. However, I know that xpress pro 5 needs it. I want to go back to using 4.6. But, the mojo firmware has already been updated to work with 5. Is there anyway to downgrade the firmware of the mojo? or clear it out?

    thanks

The bigger problem is that your dongal was updated for version 5 when you upgraded and will not work on version 4.x. I believe Avid tech support has a way to downgrade the dongal. You should ask them also about the Mojo firmware.

mojo firmware will be downgraded automatically. the software checks the revision – if it doesn’t match the one wanted it’s going to be overwritten.
