  Downconvert Out giving text artifacts

  Howdy all-
  I have a rental F-500 here that I’m hooking up to my Cinewave. Upon looking at some scrolling credit text going out, the text is leaving odd random images of itself on the screen. They look like half-slices of text and stay on for varying times. The artifacts are not repeatable, and are quite random. They appear on multiple monitors.

  I’ve hooked up another HD deck to test the source, and its not a source issue. Therefore, I think its a board in the deck. I dont have a way to monitor on an HD monitor at the moment. Any suggestions? Rental house is closed until tomorrow 🙂
