    Downconvert HD to SD ?

    Hiya,

    I have some footage in HD 59.94 1280×720 and I want to make a low res reference version of it on PAL DV tape. Can I output the sequence to DV and downconvert it on the fly?

    I’m on a dual G5 with a blackmagic multibrige pro, FCP 5.0.4

    I don’t really want to re-render anything as it’s 40 minutes of video.. is this possible?

    I don’t think so. Maybe if you have some powerful hardware.
