    Hello all,

My first venture onto the Kona messageboard … looking for some suggestions from the experts…

We’re cutting an HD project that was pulled into FCP at DVCPROHD. Our sequences are at 23.98. I need to pump the sequence out through a KONA LH to DigiBeta and I want to aspect ratio to stay 16×9.

My question is, will the Kona downconvert to SD AND do the reverse-pulldown to make it 720×480 @ 29.97? If so, are there pitfalls I should look out for?

    Thanks in advance.

You can adjust the pulldown patter in the Kona control panel if you have any problems.

When we cut some episodes in 23.98 I had no issues laying the shows off to DVCAM for reference copies.
