    I don’t know why but I now have double presets everywhere in fcp 6.

    I have 2 “NTSC 10-bit” for example.

    All the presets are doubled.

    How the heck do I get rid of all the extra ones.

    I had run fcp rescue “trash then restore” and it doesn’t fix it

    Go to HardDrive > Application Support > Final Cut Pro System Support > Custom Settings and make sure they aren’t duplicated there. If they are, trash them, then trash your preferences and don’t restore old preferences.

    no duplicates there.

    I tried manually deleting them from within fcp and they
    just come back again.

    I think black magic is pissing me off again.

    Go as well to Applications an look in a folder call: Final Cut Aditional Easy Setups
    May be there.
