June 27, 2012 at 12:02 amI agree Mark!! While we’re here, I wonder how a video like this is created. It’s not a high speed drawing of pictures. (because his magic pen wouldn’t draw black and blue images)
Any idea how to create these type of videos? I think they are an interesting creative way to communicate ideas.

June 27, 2012 at 2:15 amIt’s been a popular format for the past few years.
Step 1 – script the concept and narration.
Step 2 – find an artist who can draw in the style you want.
Step 3 – Plan the images you’ll need.
Step 4 – Video tape the artist drawing the content in “real time.”
Step 5 – Record the narration.
Step 6 – In post, lay down the narration first for timing, then add the video, speeding it up to match the revealed drawing to the points being made. That’s about it.

June 28, 2012 at 2:47 pmYea, I really like these videos. I saw this one a couple weeks ago on motivating Creative Professionals in the work place. Made a lot of sense to me.

SimonA picture is only as good as the glass it comes through. And the person using the camera has something to do with it too.
