Don’t know what version of FCP to purchase for earlier model G5
Looking for advice on which version of FCP will operate properly on a Mac G5 purchased in 2006 but has been upgraded; hard drive & RAM.

Apologies for bugging you. I’m still unsure of what I should purchase. It appears that I should go ahead and buy the Final Cut Studio 2. My confusion is from the different bundles; Upgrade or Full Retail Version with license etc. Do I need to buy FCS-1 first and then get the FCS-2 upgrade? Again, Thank you very much.

If you do not own any previous version of FCP…the you need to get the full version. If you do own a previous version of FCP, then you can buy the upgrade version. All it requires is you to input the older versions serial number.
