    Hi , everyone.
I updated the Desktop Video to version 10 .
When I use the FCP 7 to playback and stop , the FCP 7 crash
and noted ” final cut pro quit unexpectedly while using the blackmagic codec plug-in ”
there is people say the driver Desktop Video 10 not support FCP 7
so I want to downgrade the Blackmagic driver to 9.7.7 or earlier.
    But it seems can’t.
after I uninstall , re-install the earlier version and reboot.
the preference > Blackmagic Design is always ” No settings Required ”
Who can tell me why ?
    Thank you.

For FCP7 I have Desktop video 9.0.0, which is about as far as I would go with that. Also what O.S. are you running because FCP doesn’t get along too well with operating systems newer than itself as Apple have not considered the well being of FCP7 in later OS releases since it was discontinued . Are you using any stills in your project because they can cause a crash with the report that it was caused by the Blackmagic plug in. Some users have problems with Tiffs, others with PNG, either way I wouldn’t use jpegs in FCP7, you need an uncompressed format.
