  • Does your FCPS2.0 volume serial upgrades make any sense ??

We have a couple of different volume serials for the finalcut studio 2.0. 1 serial is for 8 clients, another one is for 2 etc etc. (bought at different times, thats why). When I receive my volume serial upgrade serial, it doesn’t say for how many clients the upgrade serialnumbers works for. Anyone else experienced this ?? I guess I can try out the different serials, but that’s a bit of a hazzle.

With multiple licenses, I’m sure it’s just one serial number for each purchase. Might call Apple if this is some sort of problem.

Right, but I have received 3 different packages with one serial which should cover 8 users, the others should be used on two clients each. .so how do I know which one is the one for 8 users.

Good question… Might Call Apple… but I’ll bet if you keep each system you install running, you’ll get some sort of error when you try to install one more than the serial number you’re using covers.
