    Does the pre-rec setting on the HMC-150 use up more battery power?

    I want to use the pre-rec setting on my camera. That said, I’m wondering if my battery drains much quicker if i do that. Anyone know the answer? Does pre-rec use more battery power than turning that mode off?

    Not really- it’s just data reloading into a memory buffer- no parts are moving. The camera being on is the lion’s share of battery drain.
