Help!!
I will start with some background. I have been filming daughters soccer games. In middle of season I purchased new computer(Dell xps,Vista 64,6 gigabytes of ram, plenty fast enough for video editing).I also purchased a Sony HDR-SR12. After the holidays I used a 30 day trial for Sony Vegas Platinum. That expired and I purchased the program from another vendor which arrived in beginning of March. I had on my hands app. 22 hours of soccer video, some from an old camera and some from the new that I spent hours going thru and picking highlights to create a season of highlights video. Now I have a project with video clips that total around 42 minutes. I am having no luck rendering. I have tried rendering as and the program will immediately close and on the 3rd try it may bring up a box suggesting it is rendering. As I look at the time remaining it keeps going up until it reaches 24 hrs and then recycles with 0% accomplished. I tried making a movie button with simmilar results. During rendering I check computer cpu and it is 0 or 1%.
