a way to automatically shift layers in defined sequence order (with transition options) similar to the keyframe assistant>sequence layers in AE?

    thanks

Yes it does – so did Motion 1, btw. Just select all your objects in the File Browser, drag them to the Canvas, but don’t release the mouse – you’ll see options to either edit them in by compositing or sequential.

Note and feature request: you can’t add any overlap to the Sequential option, would be nice to build in overlap to fade between stills, for example

    Thanks Mark.

The overlap is an integral part, let’s hope Apple add it.

I was wondering if this same effect could be done with items that are already in the project or created inside motion. For example I have a bunch of text layers all a single frame that I now need to sequence them out but I don’t have the option of dragging them in from the file browser.

I am not bound by what is possible.
