  Does MediaComposer XL v.12 run on OS X 10.2.8 ?

  HI!
  We have a MC v.12 running on a mac with OS 10.2.6. It’s the OS which is qualified for this version by Avid. On this system we have Quicktime 6.0.3 installed(I don’t remember the exact version number) but because of compatibility problems with our archiving software we need to have Quicktime 6.5.2! But we can’t install this QT version cause it requires 10.2.8. Hm!
  Should I dare to upgrade to 10.2.8 or will this break everything? I already made an exact copy of the system volume in order to reinstall the whole stuff if necessary but first I wanted to know:
  Does anybody here have a MC XL v 12 running on 10.2.8?
