  • does lathe have to be off the world axis?

I was trying to lathe something and there was a hole at the bottom every time and I searched (googled) around and found that you need to lathe around the 0 position on the y axis (or the 0 position of any axis I assume). Isn’t there a way to lathe around an objects own center point?

The lathe axis is determined by the location of the lathe object. By default it’s created at world center, but you can move it anywhere you like.
