  • Does Kona Read FCP6 Sequence Timecode?

Posted by Russell Lasson on April 1, 2008 at 7:03 pm

Will the Kona cards read the timecode from a FCP6 sequence while playing back in FCP? If so, does that allow it to do a timecode window burn on output?

My Kona LH card is on a FCP5 system so I can’t test it.

    Thanks,

    -Russ

    Thanks Gary.

I gave it a shot starting up from a start-up disk that had FCP6 and sure enough it worked. But when I go back to FCP5.1 on that system, it doesn’t work any more:(

But now I know that it works and that’s great!
