Does it Trancode when exporting to .avi file
I use Adobe Premiere Pro 1.5. I would like to send it to a replicator to get it encoded so they can make it look better when viewed on a large screen tv. I was wanting to send it to them on an external harddrive an an .avi file.
The quesiton I have is, When you export it out thru Adobe Premiere Pro 1.5 as a movie making it into an .avi file does that compress it or does it leave it a raw .avi file?

It will use whatever compression settings you have selected in the SETTINGS box when you export. You can set it to uncompressed AVI (none). Just look into your settings.

When I go to Export, Movie and it exports it to an .avi file it doesn’t pop up any kind of settings.
Any ideas??
