November 9, 2009 at 3:03 amQuestion of the day, brother. Why do they release versions of MC before they work?
Because some numbskull at Avid truely believes it’s more cost effective to let paying consumers beta test for em than trouble-shooting product until it’s ready for release. He’ll be gone before the company is and they’ll never recover the lost clientele they continually chase away.
You’ll dig encore. Don’t let AvidDVDit play a factor in your purchase decision.Vegas 9 spits out blu ray with no problemos. But hey, Avid has a neat new logo.

November 9, 2009 at 1:14 pmWe have Adobe’s Production Premium bundles installed on our edit machines. This gives us access to the tools we need in post – PS, AE, AI and Encore. If you’re using an Adobe’s apps already for web content you could upgrade to a bundle that included Encore. Check to see if Adobe has a trial version of Encore.
If you absolutely don’t want to spend any cash you could use iMovie or iDVD.
I agree with Grinner. Don’t let the DVD application drive your choice of a NLE. This is sort of like choosing a car because you like the color of the interior.
