does anyone know how to make music sound levels ?
hi im trying to make music levels inside a word… right now i got a word thats transparent inside so that the colums would look like its bouncing..
like this is a small example of what im looking for

I don’t really understand the effect you’re trying to achieve but Keyframe Assistant/Convert Audio to Keyframes will produce sets of keyframes based on the amplitude of an audio track which you could then used to controll another property, eg scale a solid to reveal the level bars of an EQ, if that’s what you want.
Please try to explain the look you want, I can’t tell from your post.

With due fairness to Roland I think that tutorial is a bit out of date, the convert audio to keyframes assistant is a much easier way to do this than using motion maths scripts, by default they’re disabled in recent versions of AE aren’t they anyway? I’m not saying they’re of no use but I know I’d do the same thing a lot differently now, I’m sure Roland would say the same.
