    The background you want to affect is primarily red, the foreground (the girl) has a lot of red in it as well, but the only place where the red is the primary component is in her face.

    So if you can use Calculations and other effects to mostly isolate the background from the foreground (essentially a color difference key) you can then use a garbage matte to remove the areas of the foreground that are causing problems (her face and hands most likely). The color difference process should give you more detailed edges, but leave a lot of the foreground unmatted, which is where you can use roto to fix it.
