    Does AE 7.0 have a preset for aspect ratio anamorphic 2.35:1.

    I wanted to do a video that had the same aspect ratio as a commercial DVD, which I believe is 2.35:1. I know you can crop to achieve this but was wondering if there was a preset available?

    Huh? I don’t quite figure what you are getting at. There is no such thing as a 2.35 ratio for video. Some films use that ratio (or others like 1.85 or 1.77) and when they are scanned to video, usually the 16:9 video formats are used. Since that’s still not the right aspect, black bars are added there as well. A film aspect transfer only means that the overall proportions are maintained and the movie is not modified in the horizontal view area.
