Do you have to restart AE after adding new fonts to the system?
As a MoGraph designer I constantly add and remove fonts with the AMP Font Viewer…do I have to restart AE everytime? I’m using XP here…I remember on a Mac with AE7 I didn’t have to restart AE.

I don’t think I can ever recall AE on XP dynamically updating it’s font library. I have also worked on systems that use font management tools and none of them seem to affect whether AE sees the fonts ‘live’ so to speak. Always had to close and re-open.
Would also be very interested in hearing if there is a solution or whether it’s just how AE starts up and does it’s one and only font check then.
