  • Do nested sequences need rendering before a master sequence?

I have a master sequence containing several nested sequences that also contain several nested sequences of their own. My question is: Do I need to render the nested sequences before I attempt to render my master sequence? At the moment my master sequence is taking a very long time to render, and I just wondered if my un-rendered nested sequences might possibly be adding to he problem

I am running Premiere Pro CC on my 2011 21.5″ iMac.

Only if you use preview files.
