    Do I really need to render to see reverse motion effect?

    Hello all,

    Can it be possible that on this whizzy new macbook pro, Avid MC7 really needs to render to see a simple reverse motion effect? Please tell me there’s a setting somewhere that allows me to preview effects without rendering if my hardware is capable.

    Sadly, no. You are not missing any setting anywhere to view a reverse motion in real time. Nothing to do with the whizzy new OS and platform, but with the way the video and VFX pipeline are built.
