Do I need a Time Base Corrector
I have a BVH 2000 (1″ machine). I’m using an AJA LH card to digitize my library which consists of a few different formats including 1″ video tape. I also have a BVT 2000 TBC the sister machine. I’m told that I can go directly from the composite video signal out from the 1″ machine to the LH card? Any thoughts?

It’s always nice to be able to answer your own questions. The 1″ hooked directly into the LH board wouldnt work. Once I put the TBC (BVT2000) in line with the (BVH 2000) and then to the Y/CVBS (composite)to the LH card in voila!
