Do I need a HD capture card for P2 media
Real simple…
If all of my video files are .mov files and P2 media, do I need to upgrade to an HD capture card, or is this only necessary if I’m going to output to HD tape?

Keep in mind, one thing that you and many others often overlook is that capture cards are as much for displaying to a video monitor as they are about capturing and outputing to tape. Having the capability to edit HD without the capability to monitor it properly is just half the battle…
