I currently have a Radeon 5770 graphics card installed on our Davinci Mac pro. I have purchased 2 Nvidia Quadro 4000 to go into the tower. I have installed them in slots 2 and 3 of the pci bus. i have also installed all the cuda drivers and the card drivers. when i open resolve i still get the error message that the GPU is being used for image processing. it seems like it doesn’t know that the other two cards are installed. am i missing something is there something in resolve i have to do to tell it that the extra cards are there? any help would be most appreciated

    Hey Mike,

You may need to install the Nvidia driver for your 4000 cards. Are all these cards going internally in your MacPro?

As far as I know you wont have enough external power or PCIe slots with enough bandwidth for this to work for you.

You can always mail us directly at davincihelp@blackmagic-design.com if you need any help!

    Thanks,

I’m such a idiot i totally didn’t plug the cards into the power. you are right there are only two power plugs. So would i be better off using the Radeon 5770 as the GPI and the Nvidia 4000 and the GPU or should i put both Nvidia 4000 instead of the Radeon
