  • dnx TO prores via compressor file out of sync?

    I have this issue:
    – approx. 30 minute 1080 59.94 4ch audio Quicktime reference out of MC5.03. (sequence is video mixdown to dnx145 and audio mixdown to 16/48)
    – compressor – Apple ProRes 422 for Interlaced material (High Quality) preset (no changes to preset)

the resulting file sync pop (audio) is 4 frames early!

    anyone else see this problem?
    thanks

Assuming you are exporting a QT reference out of MC, make sure that the audio tracks have no “avid black” at the beginning of sequence. QT reference doesn’t like that. If you do, and the space is needed, slug it with some real audio and change the volume to zero. This usually is the case.
