  Ditching both of our pegasus r6 raids

  Hi Guys
  After a year and half of flawless performance then a year of no performance and 3rd rate email tech support, we are ditching two pegasus r6 raids.

  For the last year or so the pegasus continually gets dead drives sometimes after a week sometimes after a day of replacing and reformatting and rebuilding the drive.

  Tech support refuses to mention the word repair….they just keep asking for system reports….And telling me to replace the dead drive with a new one… even when the drive is brand new.

  We just bought a Datatale thunderbolt 4 bay raid to get us through this project. Fingers crossed.

  So I don’t recommend pegasus r6 to anyone. They are a great machine till they fail….then you are on your own.
