  Distorted Display on Canvas + Video Output (DV + DVCPro HD media)

  Hi All,

  Been seeing this issue happening on a few FCP 5.1.1 systems. Wonder anyone here has any advice.
  This seems to be related to FCP only & not video card related.
  The issue seems to be affecting DV or DVCPro HD media & sequences, not uncompressed.

  Randomly, the canvas display + video output will be distorted & full of big green/pink pixels/blocks.
  If you step back frame-by-frame or match-frame to Viewer, the picture is fine.

  I have corresponded with AJA Support on this for quite a while & we tried all the usual troubleshooting steps.
  I also re-installed FCP, without putting in the AJA driver, the issue is still there. (As the media is DV & DVCPro HD, we do not need the AJA card to playback)
  This shows the AJA driver is not causing the conflict.

  Any advice is greatly welcome =)
